The LG Stylo 5 has NFC (on the Metro by T-Mobile version)

Is that NFC I see?

The LG Stylo 5 has NFC… sort of

I am in the process of reviewing the LG Stylo 5, and to my surprise, I see NFC is a feature of the Stylo 5!

Some of you have been holding out for an LG Stylo for a while, but you haven’t pulled the trigger yet because most LG Stylo versions have not had NFC in the past. NFC is very convenient so you can use Google Pay on your phone, which is very convenient if you forget your wallet or simply want to use it.

Luckily, the Stylo 5 does have NFC, at least on the Metro by T-Mobile version.

I have searched and scoured the web, and I still can’t confirm that NFC is included in the Cricket version or the Boost Mobile version of the Stylo 5.

Last year there was only one carrier that carried an LG Stylo 4 with NFC, which was Metro by T-Mobile (formerly Metro PCS). The Stylo 4 from Cricket, Boost, and even the unlocked version didn’t include NFC, so we will just have to wait and see!

For some of you, you are still waiting for the unlocked version of the Stylo 5, which hasn’t been officially confirmed yet. I will keep my eyes peeled and update you as more news breaks! Hopefully, the unlocked version of the Stylo 5 comes with NFC so we can take it to any carrier!
