06/08/2019 Father’s day is coming up, and there is a 3-day sale at Best Buy! Looking for a good deal on a Chromebook? Don’t want to pay $1,000 for a Google Pixelbook? The Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 is a great option for most users. It has 4 GB of RAM , 64GB of storage, and a M3 processor.
Some people are disappointed in the Chromebook Plus V2, mainly because the screen was downgraded from the previous V1 model. Yes, the screen is slightly worse than the V1 model, but this is still one heck of a Chromebook.
This device has an equal, if not better screen than most Chromebooks in the $600 price range. It has about 300 nits of brightness for a nice bright screen, and the 4GB of RAM and the M3 processor will be fast enough for most people. The big thing is the price. At $600, there are faster or lighter options. The Asus C434 has slimmer bezels and a much nicer look for a $600 price tag, but for $450 this is a really good deal.
If you want to save a little extra money, Best Buy has open box models for as little as $350. Most Best Buy open box models are less than 30 days old as most of them are returns, so don’t be afraid to go for an open box if you need to save a little extra cash!
