- You will get a $150 discount instantly, bringing the phone down to $700.
- After you buy the phone, AT&T will add $22.67 per month to your bill for 30 months.
- Best Buy/AT&T will also give you a bill credit of $22.67 per month to cover the phone cost, essentially making it free.
- If you choose to leave AT&T within 30 months, the bill credits will stop and you will owe the remaining balance of the phone. This means that, if you leave AT&T after 6 months, you will still owe $22.67×24 months, because you will not receive any bill credits for the remaining months leftover.
Simply put: If you plan to stay with AT&T for 30 months, this is an amazing deal! LG phones do drop in value quickly, but when you are getting a phone with the latest processor and a great camera, why not?
And here’s a trick: If you aren’t tied to your phone number, and you don’t have any contract (or if you aren’t paying off a phone), you can simply cancel your line and add a new line. You will have to get a new phone number, but it will get you a free LG G8 rather than having to pay full price!

The LG G8 does have the Snapdragon 855, and you can find a tech review here at CNET. From my experience? The complaints of the LG G8 are very minor. If you don’t like the new touch controls of the LG G8, simply turn them off. But this phone has great performance, a great display, and would be an awesome free phone for anyone.
