FaceApp
Lately, I’ve seen a lot of people posting pictures of themselves online, but these pictures aren’t exactly normal. People are posting pictures that show what they would look like if they were older. Where are these pictures coming from?
FaceApp is an application you can download for free from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. People are simply downloading FaceApp and editing their existing photos. Want to try this yourself? We’ve got a few easy steps listed below:
Install the App
Simply search the word “face app” on your phone’s app store, and you should see a result similar to the image below.
Once installed, you can open the application and you will most likely be greeted with an advertisement. Don’t worry, the paid version of this app is not required to make yourself look old (or young again). Go ahead and skip past the ad.
Choose Your Photo
Once you skip any ads, you will have the opportunity to choose your photo. FaceApp does preload in some images from your gallery to choose from, so you can choose one of those images, or you can go to your gallery and select an image that is saved to your phone. Simply choose an image to edit and you will begin editing!
Edit Your Photo
Once you get to the screen above, simply select “age” and you can select from an old or young version of yourself.
At this point, it will give you the option to upload the picture to Facebook, or you can press the download button in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
You can also select the “fun” option rather than “editor” and it will give you a close-up shot. Simply ignore any option to pay for anything and select the age option again. Then select to make yourself look old or young again!
