The Asus C434 is one of the best Chromebooks for the money, simply because it provides a premium experience at a decent price.
What’s so great about the Asus C434?

The Asus C434 originally retails at $570 on various websites. It has a great HD screen with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. It gets plenty bright as well.
The Asus C434 also comes with an M3 processor, and 4 GB of RAM. You can normally find the model with 8 GB of RAM for between $50 to $100 more than the 4 GB of RAM version.
Information for those new to Chromebooks
One thing you need to know if you are considering buying a Chromebook: Chromebooks can’t run your typical Windows programs. Chromebooks can’t run a full version of photoshop or certain PC games. Still, Chromebooks are appealing to many people because of their simplicity.
Chromebooks start way faster than your average computer, they have built-in virus protection and they are very secure, and Chromebooks typically give you much better performance for your money versus a Windows computer.
Chromebooks are great for web browsing, video streaming, music streaming, and on top of all that, you can now download Android apps to Chromebooks. This means that you can have a lot of cool tablet features on your Chromebook. You also have Google Drive, which allows you to make documents and spreadsheets, and you can organize those documents and spreadsheets in different folders. Google Drive, Google Docs, and Google Sheets are all free, which means you get to do various office work on Chromebooks.
So what does this device do well?
The Asus C434 has a great screen which means colors look good and vibrant, and the screen is pretty bright which will help you see your screen on sunny days.
The Asus C434 is great for daily entertainment, office work, and web browsing. It performs very well for the price making this device a great bang for your buck. This device can also play games that are uploaded to the Google Play Store.
What does this device not do well?
This device does not play PC games or use full Windows programs.
With that being said, many Windows programs have Android apps that function very similarly to their Windows counterparts. Photoshop, for example, has an Android app that works fairly well. There are also some Windows PC games that can work on Chromebooks through an Android app called “Crossover”, which essentially installs a Windows emulator on your device.
This is a great sale
Simply put, this is the best sale I’ve really seen on this Chromebook to date. Many people would argue that this is their favorite Chromebook, due to the great design and sleek bezels. This device is still a good performer and has a great screen as well. If you are in the market for a Chromebook, today is a good day to buy.
