Samsung Chromebook Plus on sale, as low as $299! (Lowest I’ve EVER seen it!)

I posted about these Chromebook deals here, but I believe they deserve a little extra discussion on their own page.

The Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 (the Intel Celeron version, and the M3 version) is on sale right now for a ridiculously low price.

Currently you can get the Chromebook Plus V2 with a Intel Celeron processor, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage for $350, and you can get the Chromebook Plus V2 with an M3 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage for $399.

Bonus: You can get an extra $50 off of both of those devices by doing the following:

1: Click here to go to Best Buy’s student deals page.

2: Sign up for Student Deals. NOTE: There is no verification required. You do not need to verify with a college ID or anything. You can simply sign up for Student deals with no verification needed.

3: Once you are signed up, go back to the Dell Inspiron 14″ Chromebook, and you should see it say “my BEST BUY offer: $349.00”. You can also get the deal simply by going to check out, and near the payment options, it will have an offer section where you can press to apply the deal.

Doing this will bring the Intel Celeron version of the Chromebook Plus all the way down to $299, which is absolutely insane! For an extra $50 (definitely worth it) you can get the M3 version, which will be a lot faster. As an added bonus, the M3 version has much more storage with 128GB of storage.

Below I have the pros and cons of both devices:

Samsung Chromebook Plus V2 (4GB RAM, 32GB Storage, Intel Celeron Processor)

Retail Price: $449

Sale Price: $349

Price with Student Deals: $299

Pros:

  • Comes with a stylus that conveniently is stored in the Chromebook itself.
  • The screen is bright and vibrant.
  • Best Chromebook for under $300 that I have ever seen.
  • Smaller than the Dell Inspiron 14″ so it should be more portable than some other Chromebooks on the market.

Cons:

  • The battery life is so-so. If you play an HD video and do nothing else on this Chromebook, it should last about 7 hours on one charge. If you are doing a lot of multi-tasking and other things, you can probably expect around 4-5 hours.
  • The keyboard has a weird feel to it, and key travel is slightly less than some other competitors. Personally, I love this keyboard, but some people do not.
